EFL Cup / League Cup

Newcastle’s form seemed to go off a bit when they won the last game so I wonder if it’s connected.

And as much as they are ā€œflyingā€ (they aren’t really) they have to go there and turn around a 2-0 loss.

Both teams at full strength as can be.

If this was being played at the Emirates, I’d fancy Arsenal to get through but I see Newcastle having enough with the home crowd to edge it.

Yeah with the exception of Man City’s complete collapse they haven’t won a game by two goals since beating Brentford on Jan 1st (8 games). I don’t think Newcastle will defend as badly as City did.

I’ll eat my hat if they manage to score three against these.

Unsure who i want to win this. Think i prefer the idea of Newcastle in the final right now - notwithstanding that we have to get there tomorrow night

Interesting first corner routine for Arsenal there…stick to what you know lads.

100% a yellow for Martinelli there.

Hahahahahahahaha.

Tie over.

Offside that, tie back on!

Yeah need 3 now just for ET.

Oh maybe not.

Anyhow I was about to say I don’t mind Arsenal winning this regardless of what we do tomorrow our nearest rival with an extra game on a sapping pitch is fine by me.

Saying that a loss might demoralise them

Hooper the fat shit is happy with all the set pieces because he can’t keep up with it anyway.

That 1 will surely count.

Isak at the heart of absolutely everything, strikes off the post with his weaker foot…and for once it’s a lucky rebound that falls to someone that isn’t Arsenal.

Oh dear dear

Different size ball and playing every three days

Hair Flick Odergard is massively overrated.

This is just a reminder of how shit City is right now. Arsenal very much playing to the same level they’ve been at all year.

This is why all the hype aftet Sunday was massively misleading.

AFTV like a morgue Lee Gunner comedy meltdown.

Absolutely sensational forward play even if he didnt score. The ball into him was not one that should have resulted in a shot on goal. He was barely goalside of the defender and had a ball drilled at him hip high, but one sensational first touch and all of a sudden Saliba realized he’s fucked.
