It’s time for us Arsenal fans to admit Arteta does not have the mentality to take us across the winning line.

I’m going to hold off on mocking that line of thought until the 70th minute of our game tomorrow.

Losing: Time to bring off the big boys. Important run of games coming up
Winning: I fucking love the milk/league/worthy/carling/carabao/simod sports shoe cup I do.

“Mikel Arteta, it must be the ball”

It took too long to disallow the first goal. Making Arsenal live with the idea of being 1 down for those 2-3 minutes was a disgrace. You cannot expect them to perform after subjecting them to that

Playing Newcastle you have tomwin the physical contest then they are then therebfor the taking

He tried to blast sounds of “hi ho silver lining” into training this week to prepare the team for St James’, but someone had lost the CD so all he had available was the theme tune to Jossie’s Giants. It’s a conspiracy

Have they even had a chance?

Also, if when we play them we really need to be strong down our right as Gordon and Isak are their main threats and link up well.

Martinelli blasted one wide from about 14 yards when it was still 0-0. That’s about all I can recall.

Odegaard should have scored too in first half.

Also Odegaards effort off the outside of the post and one other save low down by Dubravka

Hooper is shocking

Look what this club are doing to it’s fans.

Thomas Partey is the prime example of Arteta not having a clue. Tried his hardest to ship him out replaced him with Overpriced Rice. Now plays him in every game and is out of contract in the summer.

Yeah. Moving Rice forward to accommodate Jorginho made some sense and he got some rewards from it. Rice was able to use his defensive ability to help them win the ball back early and high, which allowed them to play a very front foot brand of football. Since he brought Partey back in though it has coincided with an overall more reserved approach so he’s been left with Rice playing as an 8 without the attacking ability create much there the way he could when his his press was like a creative player.

Not sure Havertz has quite grasped the concept of how buying a foul works.
