I wonder if Ngumoha will get a start against Southampton? And Chiesa too, but my mind is then drawn back to the FA Cup 4th round last season. Wouldn’t want a repeat of that.

Would expect the likes of Leoni, Nyoni and Rio to be starting that. Maybe Isak will start too as he builds up to fitness.

Probably be Leoni’s first start.
It sits between Everton at home and Palace away. Probably be on the Wednesday as that Everton game may need moving and I’m not sure the police would want it on a Saturday night so probably becomes a lunch time Sunday game if we end up playing in the CL on Wednesday previous.
Luckily both teams will play in the 3rd round
Will know by tomorrow or tonight when they set the days for the CL matches. Hopefully we aren’t in Azerbaijan that Wednesday before the derby.

Just noticed an article on the BBC about West Ham agreeing a deal in excess of £40m to sign Southampton midfielder Mateus Fernandes.
He was probably their best player last season but looks unlikely to still be there by the time we play them.
