Zero subs, idiotic. Complete fraud of a manager, relying on the influx of talent in the England setup. On a positive note, I like that our PL competitors had their players play for 90mins.
The annoying thing is, England werenāt holding on, they totally dominated the 2nd half.
Thatās better.
Great strike
Defender is cowardly though, he ducks his head away from the ball.
The rest of the PL are quite lucky that Man City wanted to reinforce the illusion that they donāt have money, or else Kane would really have helped them.
Hendo in, Trent out.
Yeah, Klopp already said that he doubts that Trent would be ready for England.
Iād say Toney is unlucky not to be involved. Done more than Watkins to earn a spot. As has Tammy Abraham.
Think Conor Gallagher could consider himself a bit unlucky as well.
Why not give Karl Darlow a look as well? Heād love that and would be no worse than the others.
Thatās three incredibly poor keepers
This again! Iām open to hearing more from Arsene Wenger about plans to reform the football calendar without all the chopping and changing.
Glad Trent isnāt there. Concentrate on getting right for us.
As for Hendo, hopefully he wonāt feature much, and if he does, come home safe!
Incredible
Gotta say, there were a number of surprising aspects to Southgateās selections.
Klopp should pretend all our Brazilian players have injuries
Iād have Chalobah in for Maguire, Gallagher or Smith-Rowe in for Ward-Prowse, Toney in for Sterling.
Sterling is too important to leave out, England lack forwards attacking spaces.
I agree with Chalobah for Slabhead, and Gallagher or SMith-Rowe for Ward-Prowse. I would keep Sterling for his pace and ability to get behind defenders, but instead would drop Kane for Toney. Captain or not, his form this season can not be ignored when it comes to International call ups
Has Chalobah played in a back 4 for Chelsea? Not a consideration if Southgate is going to go with a back 5, but he isnt necessarily going to.
Apparently doubling his salary to Ā£6m a year
Do the England team still donate their England fee to a named charityā¦?
