It has been a tepid match with flashes of excitement.
So pleased for Tomas Tuchel with all the stick he has been getting. A good result and not bad for the 1st game for the players with a new manager.

Come on give the players and new manager time to to bond. I am not expecting dazzling, flair, technical football Brazilian style or German style footie.
It will take time for our lads to develop their own style and the manager to come up with the missing ingredients to get over the line to win a tournament.

In fact the only player who has not played the whole 90 in the last few international breaks is Salah who didn’t show for a period of games and the 20 minutes Tuchel gave Jones off tonight.
Argies won 0-1. No reports of injuries but MacAllister was subbed off in the 76th minute.

Apparently, Quansah is now back in the England squad, at the expense of Livramento so it seems.
Thomas Tuchel selected a 26-man squad for fixtures against Albania and Latvia but Uefa rules state that a 23-man matchday squad must be picked for each match.
Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White and Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah, who both missed Friday’s match, return to the squad while Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon drops out after returning to his club following injury.
