Epstein Abuse Ring

I think the hope was that what ever shit got flung would be several years down the track, so by that point, Starmer would be in a more solid position as PM to deal with it having cleaned up the Tories mess and got the UK in a better position economically.

Just to add to this. I don’t think what you posted is relevant to this.
The Oslo Deal was in the early 90s. I was too tired yesterday to think (hadn’t slept).

Yeah, although I think it was more about just navigating a Trump presidency. Get through a few years with this petulant, volatile nutcase and then normal service can resume.

Worked out perfectly… :grimacing:
It’s like a bad frigging sitcom

Probably more hoped his involvement was less than what it turned out to be, meaning there’d be no shit getting flung.

Agreed. Two countries responsible for so much that is evil.

Bohley and Harris from Crystal Palace both named although as yet no indication that they have done anything

But, even disregarding his involvement with Esptein, he was clearly a very bad choice to represent this country anywhere. I remember being shocked at the time of his appointment. I can’t accept, no matter how much he might stick his tongue up Trump’s backside, that he was EVER the right person to bring back into government circles. He’s a proven liar and very corrupt, having had to resign TWICE before, so in what way was he ever considered a reasonable choice? I can’t accept it.

The problem is that it’s now turning into a daily deluge of ‘…and him!’, ‘…and him!’, ‘…and this person!’, ‘…and look another one!’,

Which risks turning this into a conversation about the breadth of Epstein’s reach and not the depth with fewer people.

For a lot of the people who’s name will crop up in the files, it will be a case of a relatively innocent, if a little grubby (we already know that in the world of business is pretty amoral) glancing contact. They are being used to obfuscate far greater crimes.

Forgive me, but I’m really not interested in whether Todd Boehly exchanged a couple of emails with Epstein. What I want the media to focus on the extent to which a smaller cabal of people were absolutely up to their necks in the worst shit - peadophilia, trafficking, rape, extortion, and (in some accounts I’ve seen) murder.

It would be the most Trump story possible, if the hand picked Trump whisperer brought enough scandal for the PM that he had to step down, all while Trump himself sits in his office unaffected and telling a reporter who asks him questions about the latest releases that she should smile more.

Trump is mentioned 38,000 times in the most recent batch according to the NYT.

99.9% of this will have nothing to do with pedophila. Human trafficking, definitely there was a lot of that.

Extortion, inside trading and generally corrupt behaviour and downright idiotic and careless behaviour around shady people when you have Top Secret security clearance, that’s what this is about mostly. Threats and maybe murders (latter is speculative, but some mails seem questionable in that regard).

Imo, pedophila is a giant red herring, mostly taken from the US media sphere. Epstein had a harem (girls being flown in and out, 100ds of them), a few of the girls were under 18. One at least said to be 14 at a point. But vast majority of the girls are above 18. Almost all are models. Extremely unlikely that most that he fixed girls to even knew much about some girls being under 16 etc. But of course, some knew, others must have surely heard rumours and more. And the guy was after all convicted of using girls below 18 years before, so shrugs.

But imo, it is not reasonable to automatically assume that everyone who got models with him had anything to do with those who were below 18. We need, if not evidence, then at least very strong indisium to assume so.

Example: this extremely embarrasing “boys will be boys” picture of Rød-Larsen visiting Epstein, clearly shows a woman in her 20s or 30s.

The redacted word here is pretty obviously “don’t”, which makes no sense that it would be redacted unless it was done as some sort of automated procedure to redact “Don”

Yeah, I don’t think anything will get released that can perfectly identify the sitting president.
The Right Wing sphere in Norway is boasting that it’s only the “left” that has been incriminated and scandalised.
Which is not true, but they have selective media awareness.

Funny meme that is popular in Norway now

It take so much time to upload 40 e-mail and you get no context then. Here is most of it, but crucially also with important context (the Norwegian media has the best coverage I have seen on Epstein-e-mails and fallout, it’s really, really good).
It’s google translated of course.

Extremely embarrasing. Extraordinary embarrasing. She comes across as 14 in the head.
However, nothing very illegal or anything.

But it’s so, so bad!

Personally, very pleased with our media. Very, very pleased. Most of the stuff I read in US papers doesn’t really have any good investigate journalism.

Edit: This was stupid. When I google translated it, the e-mails dissapear.
Here is the untranslated one:

Edit: I just pasted every mail below.

PREPARE TO BE EMBARRASED !!!
Do NOT read unless you want to be embarrased. Because this is so, so, so “face palm”. Imagine how we Norwegians feel and what we think and what we discuss these days (i.e can she really become a queen, Haakon should maybe divorce her, wtf she was 38 and not 14 but writes like a blond 14 year old girl etc.). Not everyone has a crown princess wildly flirting with Epstein. Lucky us.

(she is the one to the right)

(pictures above are “innocent” btw, not sexualised).

That was the end of their communications. Something likely happened. After this, there is no contact as far as we are aware. But yes, they were for some time, very close friends.

Epstein had pictures of her on the wall. According to the Russian model that was a fixer for Epstein, Mette-Marit was used as a fishing rod to impress people (also impress girls). Epstein had pictures of famous people on his walls. Lots of them. He loved fame. He loved showing off. He loved to impress others with his famous friends. No doubt he also impressed a lot of mallable young girls with them.

Enough trivial but super embarassasing conversations.

I need a palate cleanser.

Anyway, back to the actually incriminating stuff. But now I have done my duty, exposing our crown princess ill judged friendship and flirting as I said I would.
