Just hope that whichever moron it was who did that doesn’t get a ticket for the final.
My guess it was that clown who was wearing a suit jacket over an England shirt.

Always thought Schmeichel was a good keeper but last night he was class I thought.

He’s not his dad (one of the best ever) but he’s very good.

The state of this. It’s beyond cringe worthy.

I don’t know what’s worse. JRM saying it or the Speaker indulging this sort of shit.

I always thought Kasper was better otherwise Liecester would never have got where they did. Better distribution in any case.

Peter played for the dominant team in English football whereas Kasper has played for a team that has been in the championship, relegation battlers, prem league winners and European hopefuls

Should really be looking at a team above Leicester

If we hadn’t Alli already with us, I’d be all for him joining LFC.

Schmeichel? He’s already 34, I would be thinking more of the contrast with Mignolet (age-wise). Wish we would have signed him then instead of Mignolet…

I think you’re remembering the second half against Spain when it was a Spanish onslaught. But think back to the group games, Italy’s counter game was strong. But yes, without Spinazzola maybe that suffers a bit.

I can easily see a scenario like in the Spain game, where Italy steals a first half goal and then spends the second half trying to hold off England. I’m also looking forward to a lot of lying-on-ground hammy acting as the crowd gets more and more incensed.

I’m Liverpool born and bred, still live here. My England flag is out, because I’m English. Please don’t pretend you speak for all of us.

Sorry I didn’t see the group games so can’t even have a memory of them. After what 15 minutes against Spain the Italian press couldn’t get within a meter of the spanish players. It’s got nothing to do with counter attack (England have Walker for those).

I feel sick

I know Italy are unbeaten in the last 33 games or something but I really don’t think that they’re that special. I don’t think England is either, btw, but I don’t think Italy is a team that we should be particularly afraid of.

I like their midfield and Donnarumma is much mire imposing than Pickford but their attack doesn’t scare me and their defence is ancient. Plus they don’t start their best defender.

Danny Olmo caused them plenty of problems but fortunately for Italy he was the only one in that Spain team who played with directness and pace. We’ve got loads of players like that.

I think Chiellini and Bonnuci are going to struggle dealing with the likes of Sterling, Saka, Sancho, Foden, Grealish…even Mount and maybe Rashford if he’s brought on, standing them up and running past them.

just for perspective, this is the Italian district of Vancouver on Tuesday

I used to hate playing the Italians as a teen and during a brief stint in VMSL.

Sad to see things like this happening and the smashing up of the bus as well. I just cannot understand it. Takes the shine off a good performance.

The team I can live with, but I honestly struggle to find any kind of sympathy for England because of their fans. Bunch of idiots. You wouldn’t think that the word ‘fair-play’ was first coined in England.

This is where I am, very happy for all the England supporters here and around the world. Enjoy the moment!

I’ve enjoyed this tournament immensely. The matches has been competitive, interesting and entertaining and IMO the overall quality of football has been tops.

Personally speaking. I appreciate everything Löw has done for Germany and I will always respect his body of work. However, I’m also quite excited for Flick’s leadership to begin. New ideas, new approach, new energy, new identity, it’s a time for great optimism amongst supporters of Germany.
