Hope the Swiss hold up better in extra time compared to the Croatians earlier. Would quite like to see the upset here. Get Mbappe on the plane to Blackpool before the end of the month

But yeah, I think you are right. I think Deschampes have played it rigidly because he doesn’t want his team to be unbalanced at the back during transitions. And it has worked well enough, but maybe not today !

Basically France turned up for 20 mins in this game. I maintain, the Swiss were unlucky to not get another peno given away by Kimpembe and Émbolo stayed on his feet in the box when if he’d have gone down after a slight clip on his ankle, they might have had another.
Got to say these 2 games have had great drama. Imagine France vs Spain probably be a 0-0
