This game should not be played right now. Danish players crying while warming back up!
Now I just imagine that Christian is awake and said the boys should go out and win the game.
It was pure coincidence becoming a LFC fan in 2002 during a trip to wales and england. Met a group of reds in a pub in Chepstow during the world cup and their passion and kindness and lots of pints made me want to be one of them and they “adopted” me. Given what i read today in this forum after the terrible thing that happened to Eriksen makes me belive that back then lady luck smiled on me. I wouldnt want any other company.
I am getting goosebumps with the announcer on resuming the match and both sets of fans reactions.
Just confirmed, they facetimed with Christian in the dressing room . He wanted them to go out and play.
I was about to suggest that this may become the cleanest match played, then Delaney fouled the Finnish player.
The director of the Danish Football Association, Peter Møller, confirms to Danish Broadcasting that Christian Eriksen spoke to the Danish players from his hospital bed.
He’s fine.
Schmeichel does what Schmeichel does best in goal…having one of two mistakes in his game that lead to a goal.
If Angels walked this earth, these guys are two of them.
Great news that Eriksen looks to be OK. But in all seriousness, this should be a slap in the face to all the football authorities. Footballers are not robots, and at some point we are going to have a death to deal with. It shouldn’t take something like this to be a wake up call, but they need to take it as one.
I had just shouted Pohjanpalo out as a player literally seconds before Eriksen situation.
Penalty Denmark
VAR check
Oh come one, that cannot be a penalty. The foot caught one someone sliding knee? No way.
Radetzky saved
I think Denmark just got a sympathy penalty there. That was a dive.
Awful penalty and penalty decision.
That wasn’t a penalty. Saved.
It is Anthony Taylor afterall.
Taylor must have thought Fernandes was playing!
Feel for Denmark, but that was never a penalty for me.
