Highlight of the match.

Italy will be hard to beat.
With regards to rolling around feigning injury, there was no need for the Italian lads to do that. The Spanish are just as bad as well.

I hope Spain win, at least we will have a chance.

He’s massively overrated. Hope we don’t go near him. I haven’t seen the game but I did see Insigne’s goal where Tielemans was absolutely pathetic.

Tielemans was poor and De Bruyne was obviously not fully fit.

As much as I hate diving, I prefer the Italians to progress because I don’t like a lot of the Belgian players and I’d rather beat Italy in the final.

The Italian attitude to football makes me sick to be honest. But the best team won, no doubt about it. Martínez set his team up too conservatively. At one point they had 5 defender’s in a line against 1 Italian attacker. They couldn’t get out their half.

This Spanish team is way more honest. Spain over Italy for me but I think the Italians will be to wily for this Spanish side. Spain are lacking a clinical finisher.

Got a tenner on Italy to win the tournament.

Italy v England final for me - which goes to pens - Kane misses and then Pickford lets a dolly go under his body. Both retire from football in shame.

Everyones happy.

They flip it in and out of possession, Bruyne defends the central zone without the ball and Lukaku has freedom to come inside when they’re on the ball.

In Russia, they beat Brazil in that way, playing Bruyne more as a false 9 and Lukaku in the inside right zone, sort of the one Salah plays for us. Not the first time Lukaku did it (also for Everton in some big games), he’s better when he’s surrounded by 1-2 players in attack anyway and he can be himself, bully CB’s, attack in behind, get into finishing areas. When he’s a lone striker or plays centrally in complex matches, him and his team can struggle a little bit.

In the end, I’d say it was what I expected, a narrow Italian win. They showed the most so far. Belgium’s peak was 2018 I feel, most players being 100% and playing in top form. Now it’s more difficult. Plus, those defenders are getting older, as we saw with some of their defending last night; Vertonghen for the first goal, both Tielemans and Alderweireld for the second (even if it was a brilliant strike by Insigne, his trademark move, which is also why you must know it and defend it much better).

This was possibly a little final before the final, we’ll see what England can do on the other side and if they get to the final. Spain are not without chances against Italy though, but Italy will probably be favourites now for the rest of the tournament.

Me neither, I won’t be happy.

So, how many times will Morata fluff a scoring chance? Stay tuned.

No thanks I have seen enough Morata diving and crying

Depends if Spain defend like the French.

Would quite like to see the Swiss do something here.

Thiago on the bench again, which is a good thing for us! Even better if he’s on a plane home/on holiday tomorrow.

Looks like two very evenly matched teams

Hard to choose a winner…

Which Shaqiri will turn up I wonder. The Swiss one or the Spanish one?

You noticed.

Yet another own goal (deflection) in this Euro.

It’s given to Alba, but it should have been an own goal.

Might open this game a bit

Really pathetic showing by the Swiss so far.
