I think this game may will be more competitive than yesterday, but that was because Italy surprised positively to a large degree and nullified Turkey completely. On paper, this game should be less competitive. In reality, I think Switzerland will win relatively easily, but no way as dominant as Italy yesterday.
But yeah, guessing something like a 2 goal win to Switzerland, though that is just a some what wild guess.
Switzerland very dangerous. Wales will be very lucky to get to the break at 0-0. Wales created one chance, but apart from that, they truly struggle to even mount a counter attack. As I write that (how typical), there is a very nice classic Kick and Run counter attack by Wales that cut through Switzerland and a Swiss defender obstructs the wing, creating a free kick in a dangerous position.
Mind you, this is the type of game where the underdog may win. Switzerland clearly the better team in almost all departments, but this game does not in any way have the sense of inevitability that we saw yesterday. If one of those Welsh counters cuts through and the finish is good enough, game may change character.
But Switzerland has played the best football and creates the most by far. Even so, if one counter gets through on open goal… and Switzerland does not have super effective forwards either.
Conclusion: Open Game, but Switzerland has a clear edge. So far…
