They do, I agree. I think Italy is a bit better, but Southgate has created a very solid team that is incredibly hard to score on. I think he should get plaudits more than criticism no matter how this goes. It is not necessarily so that a free flowing England type of style would get to the final.

Well no team has won two penalty shootouts in a single Euros tournament.
I think the crowd will give England a significant edge here. They are going to boo Italy awfully hard on every step they take up to the 7 meter to shoot.
