Credit to both teams for that entertainment.
Well deserved 2-0 win,top of the group, bring on the Italians.NEXT!!!
All down to Neco that
Good game. Bale and Ramsey were excellent.
Agreed. Danny Ward also.
Ethan Ampadu looks an entirely different boy without his dreads.
Bale might be a knob but he is at least a captain instead of an individual in this type of team.
Another entertaining game (not even Robbie Savage could ruin that despite his best efforts). Good performance from Wales, deserved the win. Turkey have been a big disappointment so far, the dark horse tags they came into the tournament with looks to be well wide of the mark.
Wales are so much more entertaining than England.
I thought their entire team worked very well, but Gareth Bale and Aron Ramsy stands out. Bale may have missed some critical situations, but he DID create both goals, so credit where it is due to him.
Turkey literally let Bale walked into the box, not once, but twice to set up Wales 2nd goal.
Sciatica is more entertaining than England to be fair.
Fucking yes, boys! Can’t wait for the Italians.
He suckered them twice. Thought he was very intelligent, they were expecting him to shield the ball in the corner and try to waste time. Very skilful. I liked his/Wales approach. When the counter attack was on they surged forward with 3 or 4 players.
Had a second look, not sure about the peno to be honest. I suppose Bale was intelligent, it looked like he dragged his leg into the defender. Hard not to give to be fair to the ref.
I remember him well. Had a good world Cup for Italy once. Toto Sciatica.
Well done Wales, a well deserved victory, but why make it sooooo hard. How many missed chances was it? Still a win is a win, giving Wales a very good chance of progressing to the next round.
I havent seen that much of the tournament, but it was by some distance the best game I’ve seen. It was definitely lacking in quality, but in an era where so much international football is a mismatch between one team trying to win and the other trying to survive, this felt like a bit of a throw back to the 80s before football was so tactically precise. I dont mean that as a criticism of these teams either (that they’re tactically inferior), but I think this was a reflection of the incentive both sides had to win produced a good game.
Yes, I agree. Both teams tried to win instead of not lose. I thought it was a really entertaining game too. Compare it to the Spain vs Sweden game for example. Spain 100% more technical, more skillful and a 100% more likely to bore me to sleep.
Congrats to all the LFC lads past and present.
Danny and Joe were fantastic
