haha, I started to chuckle when he didn’t manage to head it.
But enough mockery, this game is awesome. Both team better than expected, although defensively so-so at times (and Demfries should not have had that chance if the defender was aware of his surroundings).

I understand, but honestly, Ukraine has created a lot of dangerous situations. While Netherlands dominate, this isn’t like Italy vs Turkey. Ukraine can actually win this (while it never looked like Turkey could beat Italy).
I like it watching this, that is for certain !

Not sure, but bad enough to go out. And that affected Ukraine, as he was the guy who turned the play and initiated transitions.

That having been said, The Nethrlands have been really good. Better than expected. Just some defensive frailties, visible now and then, but offensively they have been truly good. Better than England.
Yeah, I didn’t expect them to be so fluid and entertaining.

Netherlands should be comfortably ahead by now. Bit of a similar feel to the Italy vs Turkey game although Ukraine have been a bit more adventurous than Turkey were, with the supposed dark horse not really showing much against a bigger nation.

Frank De Boer seems to have given the more advanced half of the Dutch team carte blanche to do whatever the fuck comes into their head. They’re completely chaotic. Shevchenko will have actually bothered talking through a tactical plan with his team and it shows. 1-0 to Ukraine coming up.

The Netherlands have played fantastic offensively I have thought. And there is a limit to how many dangerous chances you can allow the Dutch to have before they score (most likely).
