Rashford played for most of the season with foot and shoulder injuries and is now undergoing surgery to get the latter fixed and is not expected to play this season until October at the earliest. Whether it was because of this or other reasons, he wasnt really in form the second half of the season and so I think the bigger question is how did he make the squad rather than why he didnt play more.
