Italy is playing well.

Just realised that the Euro matches are also on free-to-air CTV channel here in Canada over the weekends, not just the pay TSN channel. That’s great.

They are usually a LOT more competitive than this though. Strangely weak performance (partly due to how aggressive and fluid the Italians were, as well as their very good press, but still, nothing worked for them), as Italy utterly dominated everything.

We got Jenas here, not sure what match he was watching the first half. Wasn’t great as he kept going on, did massively improve in the second.

So who I’m going to ruin tonight

This simple gesture apparently wiped $4 billion off Coca Cola’s market value. :flushed:

I’m not impressed by the football on display at Euros so far, though it has to be placed into context of very bad things happening over the last 18 months or so. That said, I was very impressed by Pogba last night, he seems to have timed his upturn in form since New Year or so. Then again, he always plays well for France, especially in the big games.

Netherlands were as fun as I remember, you never know how their matches will pan out but you know there will be goals. The more I watch them, though, the more they look like “give it to Depay” team but I like their midfield. They could use a more mobile striker, though, at least in my opinion.

I missed England and Croatia because of Đoković but will hopefully watch their next subsequent games.

This supposedly caused $4billion to be wiped off the share price…!

@Cristiano moving the sugary/unhealthy drinks and instead telling people to drink water… #Euro2020 https://twitter.com/Goal_en_espanol/status/1404520340643106822/video/1

Best I’ve seen Ronaldo play for quite some time. Good work Cristiano

TBH with you,i’d imagine even the youngest kids on the planet would know water is healthier for you than coke and on the flipside,Coca-cola have just got a global advertisment plugged by one of the most iconic footballers for free and they never even asked for it.

Well not for free - for minus $4 billion - although that’s half recovered already

Bonaqua is still Coca Cola

Thats peanuts for a company like Coke, they’ll make that back in sales by the end of the day ad still have Ronaldo’s face holding 2 bottles of Coca-cola.

How hard is it to get knocked out in the group stage of this thing? Do you have to lose every match?
