Thatās just the media scapegoat argument to cover up the flaws of a manager hopelessly out of his depth. Lets be real England have world class players in many areas of the pitch - Walker, Alexander-Arnold, Rice, Saka, Kane, Bellingham and Foden all have decent arguments for being the best player in the world at their position.
The fact this manager canāt get anything from them is far more about him than them.
Then you can also get into why he picks players like Wharton after a handful of PL starts but ignores Curtis Jones etc.

A little stat which is getting missed England have now only won 2 of the last 8 games so people expecting a major turn around in performance and reaching a bit.

If this team played together in the Premier League under this manager, they probably wouldnāt make it into the top four.
And Southgate would have been sacked long ago.

Nah. Southgate is hopeless- we all know that. But the players are vastly overrated. They look good in their club setups, under far superior coaches, but struggle to adapt once out of that structure.

Hah, great timingā¦ I genuinely forgot that Serbia finished last - I forgot because I was busy listing the tactical innovations that StojkoviÄ conjured in the last few weeks, let alone months. No matter how much we love football in Serbia and Montenegro, weāre never going to be āfootball nationsā because we absolutely suck the life out of it, because we put the least competent and the most arrogant people in charge. Football has really not been kind to me personally over the last two years on any level.

The people saying the players arenāt good enough would you still be saying this if Pep, Klopp, Arteta even Emery were in charge. Im not usually a betting man but id put a wedge on we would be doing better.

Nah Iām just not buying it, theyāre all excellent players. Rice was a top PL DM while playing for David Moyes, changes system completely for Arsenal and is still very good. He goes to England and looks like he can barely kick a ball. Itās not the players, its the lack of gameplan or ideas from the coaching staff.
