One interesting thing from the last France game was how little (nothing) Doku got out of Kounde. Doku offers little else other than 1-1s, and this seemed to be a big part of Belgium’s tactics, and it was pretty much a shut down performance from Kounde.
He’s being very stretched so far though by Leao.
Mbappé with the mask should be some kind of Marvel superhero.
Palhina is having a good game and seems positionally on point.
Portugal are doing better than expected, but a midfield 3 of Camavinga, Tchouameni and Kante is a bit…attritional? So maybe its a dynamic that shouldnt be unexpected from the team selections.
