A reminder that, when Scotland played Serbia in Euro qualifiers about ten years ago, their fans helped clean the snow that covered the stadium and made a donation to the childrenās hospital in Novi Sad. How can I not love them?

We got one of these mad men coming over for a short visit before the Scotland vs Switzerland game in Cologne. Not sure heāll make it though or in what condition.

Indeed. Munich is apparently subjected to a tsunami of Scottish fans currently. Swiss radio saying that they are roughly 200k in the city today. Is that even possible? 
Iāll miss the opening game due to having to play in a concert, but I really regret it. Finally football played not with money as the main target, but just to see who is the best national football team in Europe.
And Germany is a proper footballing country as well. The tournament will be a success for sure. Iāll take this over the Qatari shit every day of the week, thanks very much.

I went to Germany v NI in Euro2016. German fans were brilliant. Great craic and super friendly.
Incidentally, we won ābest fansā at that tournament, jointly with RoI which is an irony in itself

Yes, Irish fans are top top fans at any international tournaments. It is a shame they are not participating in Germany this Euro 2024.
I still remember one Euro tournament, there was lone Irish fan dressed as a leprechaun, surrounded by a sea of Swedish fans. You could spot him miles away.
