First some honesty, I’m a Sunderland supporter !! I came on here because I had a good think about who had played the most European games(no I didn’t google it) and I thought it must be Liverpool. Plus back in the days of Emlyn Hughes et al I used to love watching your European cup matches.
As a Sunderland supporter I went to my first game at Roker Park in 1968 aged 9 and the season is only the second time ever we have qualified for any European competition and I would really love to see the lads play AC Milan in the San Siro. The problem is getting a ticket which is why I came here. With all of the technology involved now and tickets are e-tickets not printed there doesn’t seem to be a way to buy a ticket for the home supporters sections and pass security to get in.
I know many of your European adventures have involved taking many more supporters than your official ticket allocation and mostly all getting in
My question is how is it done ?
Please help if you can I’m 67 now and almost certainly won’t get another chance to see Sunderland play at the San Siro.

People I know book the tickets from home club websites. Hospitality for Milan home games starts from 130 euros.
Watching the match is quite alright if you don’t wear the away team kit
Thank you Sithbare. I was going to do that and registered on the AC website but apparently now if you’re from the opposing teams country they won’t sell you tickets. I will try it when they become available and let you know how it goes 'cos I’m sure your lads will need to know more about it in the future than I will lol.
My friends aren’t from England so it’s all good that way for them.
Well it’s not looking good. Tried the hospitality route and all that is left are pitchside boxes or whatever they are @ 605euros. That’s going to come to around £1000 with travel etc. so unless I pop over to Iran and sell a kidney I can’t manage that.
General sale ticket entry is apparently very strict on security and you need to show your passport so no way to go that way.
