Not sure why Carsley persisted with the awful Gordon and Smith Rowe. I think Archer should have been leading the line with Ellis Simms there too but he’ll get praised now that Palmer and Jones carried England to the tournament.

Gordon has a problem with gravity. For every free kick he cons out of the ref he gives away possession on another. Smith Rowe didn’t do much but I was quite impressed with Madueke who came on for him.

Id say he is even worse, Grealish was a good player at Villa, Gordon never showed that at Everton.
Appalling piece of business by Newcastle but now they can make those mistakes.

I agree that Spanish players should stay very quiet about shithousery but Cole Palmer could be Spanish he is an extremely unpleasant boy.
Yes but you can’t complain if you’re just as bad.
Not sure what you saw but he was looking for pace and flexibility upfront, which allowed the team to stretch their opponents.
Keep in mind that Ramsey was part of the front three
I watched most of the tournament and they kept mentioning this pace but it only seemed to show as an asset when they went one up.
