Kone just left the pitch with an knee injury, he will fit right in

Of course I start watching and Thuram is substituted within 5 minutes.
Based on those 5 minutes, we shouldn’t sign him.
When Kone was on the pitch he had some penetrations true midfield but when he left he got a more deeper role. Had some good interceptions but on more than one occasion he spotted the danger too late.
Veiga did not start again yesterday and had only 8 minutes.

For those who have watched Thuram and been underwhelmed or disappointed, just remember that he’s got the unfortunate issue of having to play with other french players. Imagine him being supported in a team containing talents like Jones and Elliott and he’d look the bomb

If I’m honest I’d take less from him in international games in an U21 tournament than when he plays for Nice.
They are hard games to judge
