This is from a couple of months ago. Well worth a listen. It’s about his whole, long career not just LFC but it’s clear he loved his time at the club. Remarkable career and I’ve got new admiration for him after listing to this. He is also adamant that retiring from international football has prolonged his career/ helped him cope with the demands of club football in recent years.

Brighton play Leeds the second to last game of the league season, shame it wasn’t sooner as it would have been good to see him break the record at the ground he made his premier league debut.

Even though some of his Brighton cameos have been really to push his numbers, that’s nothing against his record, because you still need to get there. Proud that 230 of those PL games have been at Liverpool, proud in general that he had the most games for us.
