Its common for players to have individual training regimes following a serious injury isnt it? Particularly if they missed out on some of the summer training
It is. But when it comes to Naby, I think such a statement is managing expectations to some degree while trying to keep the bile down. Iād be surprised if we see him in a red shirt again to be brutally honest. Might even be gone in Jan.
So he played a few minutes today without breaking apart? Progress.
Thought he looked really bright, actually.
Keita in a nutshell. All that promiseā¦ Then gets injured.
He is generally a really good player if he was only half as injured as he is he would be a talent worth keeping.
Problem is he never is, hopefully whatever the new Doc is working on helps him give us options.
Not involved in training today.
Maybe itās why they put out the ālooking at optionsā thing yesterday.
Source?
Edit: just saw the Neil Jones tweet.
Isnāt there precedent for players not appearing in the training photos but actually they were there?
Probably, especially in case of illness?
I do know sometimes they are on the pitch playing but we donāt see them.
These has been one or two before the break that werenāt in the photos but then were available on match day.
I guess we wait on what Klopp says tomorrow.
Naby giving the thumbs up to Klopp for Saturday.
Poor Naby is just being reported incorrectly.
Should be:
āNaby is back on the treatment table. He was missing from the treatment table for a short stint while suffering through training and a cameo appearance in a PL match. Thankfully that was short-livedā
I think the club doctor left because he was sick of the sight of Naby.
Some folks getting excited that him not being involved in training is because heās about to leave.
Suspect he is just unfit
Some of the comments here are shameful. Revelling in a good player having a torrid time with injury. Itās fucking horrible.
Only Naby can injure himself due to being unfit.
