He might see Madrid as a sort of halfway house for his young children, before heading back to Brazil at some future point

Expect the the ā€˜Bobbyā€™ song to be extra loud on Saturday and letā€™s not forget other players who will be leaving the club, Milner and the Ox also deserve a decent send off.

8 years here. People can of course have different ideas of what is a legend but in my mind, players like Firmino, like Hendo are legends in my opinion. These players to me encapsulate what Liverpool Football Club means to me. Its not just about winning, or else there are plenty of clubs I can support but its about being hard working, working for the community and people around you and never giving up even when people say you are not good enough. Players like these set Liverpool FC apart. We have so many great players over the years and even now but players like Firmino will always have a space in my hall of legends. Hope he gets a fantastic send off in the last home game of the season. The last time I got emotional seeing an Anfield send off was Sami Hyypia. I think Firmino will be the same for me.

So many memorable goals, moments, and laughs with Bobby. I hope he can get a run out against Villa at Anfield - even if only being subbed on for the last few mins.

The away end was incredible last night singing his song.

What I loved about Bobby is that in an era in which Brazilian players are more often than not at this level due to their athleticism and ability to play a defined role in a defined system, Bobby was a throw back to Joga Bonito

Spiritual successor to Ronaldinho. Both have that childlike joy of playing football

Before Covid, I was playing ball at masters worlds in Vegas and took my toxic orange Firmino jersey with me, wore it on the strip the day of this match at Chelsea. So many times I ended up singing that song with some random stranger who saw it. Bobby scored the winner.

Heā€™s been my favorite player post-Gerrard. A bit devastated heā€™s moving on.

Bona fide club legends. Salah, Mane, Virg and Alisson also. Trent on his way to legend status. Seems a lot for one team but weā€™ll be telling our grandchildren about them
