Will not miss his celebrations (some of the worst I’ve ever seen in football) and no look tap-ins, but I will miss absolutely everything else about him as a player and character.

The compilation shows what a head-up and clever player Bobby is! His awareness of space and what the opponents are thinking is unreal!
Roberto Firmino, what a player he is and we’re going to miss him. He definitely qualifies as a club legend and I wish him well for the future. I just wish he was staying.

It would have been nice to get another year - but I think it’s the right thing for him to leave. Club offer wasn’t as good as he is likely going to get elsewhere, and he’d only get limited game time here. The team is also looking relatively well stocked in the attacking areas, so bobby’s free’d up wages can help towards new signings (in midfield!).

Also he’s getting to the age where he’ll be injured even more and won’t be as sprightly and effective as he used to be in his pomp. Father Time catches up with even the best.
Going to be a big celebration of him on the weekend.

I love him to death, but a squad player with unreliable fitness is just not helpful. We face the same issue with Thiago but Bobby’s contract situation has maybe on balance done us a favour

Thiagos injury problems started at Barcelona. It was never going to get better if he leaves a league with 18 teams and one domestic cup competition for the team which plays the most intense football in the world, in the most intense 20 teams league in the world with two cup competitions.
Bobby was barely injured until last year. Still far from being ‘injury prone’. Pretty sure he has three more very good years in him.
Bet Hendo, Jota, Darwin and Diaz have a worse injury record for Liverpool than Bobby.
