Maybe a small part of it is - I’m not looking forward to the poetic exit to PSG a year after the famed exit to the same club.
It’s so good to have an international break that I don’t have to stress myself out to watch this shite. I am wondering if I am going to be bothered watching any matches the remainder of the season (I probably will watch them 
).

I feel sorry for my 90+ year old dad, he is not getting any joy in watching Slotball. In fact, right at the beginning of last season, he complained many times how he disliked the way we played out from the back and inviting pressure. It was fine when we won #20, but when things are not going well, it is so glaring.
The worst thing is there are plenty of opportunities for this team and the manager to embarass themselves even more before the season ends.
City away in the Cup. PSG. Away trips to Everton and Man U.
Who would bet on us getting a win at any of those places right now? Fucking braver men than me.
There are about 5 teams below us who will leapfrog us if they can put a run of 3 or 4 wins together.

we’re not winning a trophy with Slot this season but…
FA Cup away from home against City - so we’re not favorites but it’s right after the international break which makes it a bit more unpredictable.
CL can see us actually reach the semi final because we play the second leg at Anfield.

Optimism is great! My expectations are for the team to complete 38 games in the PL and collect at least 50 points. That is all.
Hopefully the board are getting our next manager lined up because if we can get him in before the summer, and he can see how the boys respond in training, we’ll be better off next season. I think the likes of Alexis and perhaps even Virg may not survive a new manager’s demands. I wonder if Xabi is interested or if his Real ‘early summer start’ against his preference will have put him off coming in early. I’d wait until summer for him but perhaps another option could come in now.

If he disliked that, I wonder what’s his opinion of our current “build-up” - i.e. passing the ball between the centre backs and goalkeeper before hoofing it up the pitch!
