VPN and 25AuD per month (~15 pounds) for all PL, FA Cup and CL games. Not the worst.

They aren’t shit.

But we should still smash them even if we end up conceding goals.

It’s a game to enjoy while at least taking note of how we play.

Anyone crying how shit we were for 10 minutes or something after the game needs to be banned.

Dom for Mac Allister. The club are being very careful with Macca.

I would love for Mac to start over Dom this game. Even if it’s only for 45 / 60 mins. Mac just offers so much more than Dom. Mac / Wirtz / Graven the middle trio

Dom has been one of our best players during pre-season

Let’s see who is fit.

I prefer Jones in deeper double-pivot zones to Szobo, more natural and more experience there. I didn’t like him in the build up phase as the LCM against Bilbao. But thing is, Gravenberch (technically more profined than Szobo, especially in ball manipulation) is basically always the RCM under Slot.

So it also depends on the team’s dynamics, I still want to see how our use of our full backs change if it’s Bradley/Frimpong or Kerkez/Robbo. Definitely want to see an improvement defensively, especially defensive transitions and set-pieces (that was already to be seen last season).

That doesn’t mean I’d drop Szobo to the bench, because Ekitike looks like he still has to hit a few more gears. Szobo’s pressing is definitely important and needed. Double false #9’s with Szobo and Wirtz is something I’d also consider.

We know Gravenberch (now he looks like he will hit the ground running, looks phenomenal at the minute, probably our best in shape midfielder) is available here, but suspended for the start of the league season.

Mac also looks a little bit off (he might feature, but not have 90 minutes of high intensity in his legs), so Jones will definitely be needed deeper and it’s another reason to give him another game deeper.

Must win :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Slot will want to win this curtain opener.
I want us to at least score a goal and wouldn’t mind a few more.
I’m also looking forward to the start of a new season with many new faces (at least for me).

I’m curious to see how well we defend their counterattacks and set pieces. That’s something we didn’t do well during the preseason.

Good stuff, Ali’s back.

If he doesn’t start on Sunday, he should be perfectly fine for Bournemouth.

I forgot this was on. I would have posted a summary, but I can’t watch the match live and I am now having a strop.

I’m assuming the final question was about Mac Allister?
