Big fan of both Nyoni and Rio and as much as I’d love to see both start, can see Arne treating this as a proper competitive game and the final stopping point before the real thing kicks off in mind.

Thanks. I didn’t notice that those were separate. I wish they would have proper closed captions on the press conferences. I really struggle to hear the journalists at all.
You know how some fans chant, “Who are ya?”, as a sort of derision of their opponents. Well, with so many faces, I can see some of our fans asking that as a genuine enquiry.
Edit: Incidentally, was that gaffer tape supposed to keep Keith Moon’s headphones in place, or stop his brain falling out. It reminds me of Nat Philips at the end of our centre back disaster season.
I had them on. I’m hard of hearing so I often use them but the question didn’t come through. Sometimes these will have CC added manually afterwards if they aren’t live. I suppose the real problem is that they don’t give microphones to the journalists.
It’s nice. I was thinking myself that it could be nice to share a little silver cup with another team from time to time. I am an altruist after all
But on the other hand, it can lead to some truly peculiar situations where no team tries to win (many examples of this in sporting history). I get that this is not at all an important title or game, but even so.
I should be watching on TNT on 410…but cannot get the phone to sync with the tv…we have wifi…but we get a picture…but alas it pixilates…so it’s updates on a phone…gggrrrr
There’s a piece in the Guardian about the Community (Charity) Shield, which I have mainly posted for the excellent picture of Kevin Keegan chinning Billy Bremner. 51 years ago? Good heavens!
