They should be fine with 40 hours more than our squad to recover/prepare.
Believe whatever you want to believe.
I would prefer Bristol, we have played Norwich too many times.
I’ve always thought part of the fun of the cups is that you get to see teams (and their fans) that you don’t often see.
ESPN coverage crap again - they insist on turning down the volume of the fans so much. Conway just scored and you’d think Bristol City were the away team with how quiet the crowd sounded on TV.
Would like to see Bristol City in the PL but not with this camera angle.
So much better without VAR, well done ref/assistant.
Yep loving no VAR.
Stupid Benrama Beckhamesq kick out. Deserved a red. Didn’t need VAR for that one.
Benrahma has quietly been a terrible signing for West Ham. Never see him do anything.
That’s a bit of an odd comment?
He cost them about £25m and has reached double figures as a winger for an upper mid-table club in the previous two seasons. While that’s not exactly super amazing, it’s not terrible either. It’s probably what you’d expect for that price and team and he contributed to their first trophy success in a good while.
Not done much this year, for sure.
Maybe my perception of him is wrong, I’ve not dug into his stats but everytime I watch West Ham he is anonymous. Sure he maybe pops up with a goal every now and again but he always just sits on the edge of the game and doesn’t really contribute anything.
Looking at his goals & assists and seems to get them in patches. 21/22 he had 2 goals and 2 assists in the first 2 games, then 1 goal and 1 assist in the next 16 PL games. Does boost his numbers in Europe, maybe he would be better at a slower pace.
ESPN is universally shit. The Plus affiliate—which we have to watch over here—is some of the worst quality this side of using the old antenna on top of the TV.
The picture routinely starts and stops and backs up. Max Headroom comes to mind
Two PL teams dumped out the cup.
West ham beaten by Bristol
Wolves knocked our Brentford, AET
First proper shock of the round but it was half expected considering how bad they’ve been recently.
Mine doesn’t do that, but often the picture gets so fuzzy for a good bit of time, can’t really tell what’s going on. Didn’t know Gakpo had scored the second against Fulham, till all the fuzzy red things started running towards the stands.
Bristol Rovers vs Norwich City tonight. Winners play Liverpool.
Last time we played Bristol Rovers was in 1992 so would be nice to play against them.
In theory they are also ‚weaker’ than Norwich. Might help to take some important players off early.
What channel please, i’m in the UK and the listing I have is saying Blackpool-Forest on ITV 4
I’m in Bangladesh
