They have already made 350k in prize money, but a big gate like Anfield is potentially transformative as they fight for promotion. For a club that size, a £100k profit is a great year. One day at Anfield would fund their budget to consolidate the side for next season in the event of promotion.

Just caught the news, didn’t watch, But apparantly both fan groups went berserk when Wolves went 2-0 up ? Wolves fans celebrated on the Home end and then West Brom fans decided this was disrespectful enough to start shooting a hooligan movie and probably get banned from future West Brom games as a result ?
I blame (too much) alcohol myself. Half-sober people won’t risk never getting to see their team again just to land a few punches because of “disrespect”. You have to be quite drunk to lose all sense of consequences.

On a far more positive note, It’s going to be cool to see what McConnel can do in midfield 
I’ve never seen him play. Let’s judge him as a young debutant and not as someone who is integrated into the team.
