I would have preferred it at Anfield, but we should be able to give a few of the youngsters another run out.

Great tie. Great draw.

Lots of potential upsets on the cards there too, such as Utd beating Leicester.

Our game is bound to be televised, with the “magic of the FA Cup” narrative.

Better

Probably just as well, as it’s a hell of a trek down there. I think the timing of this is a factor in the derby match rescheduling.

We’ll have won the league and CL by the time we play this, so full strength for me.

Rio, Trey + the 9 starters

Yeah but they got rid of the waste of space that put them there.

One good thing is it would have been Brentford away if they hadn’t beat them.

It must have been wishful thinking on my part that’s exactly what we got unfortunately we have to travel 600miles for that game, which is on the same week as the second leg of the league cup against Spuds.

We play Spurs on a Thursday (the 6th) and we’ll almost certainly go full-strength there. The FA Cup game will probably be televised, so I would imagine that’ll be on the Sunday or even the Monday, as we don’t have another game until 16th February due to avoiding the CL playoff stage.

I’d imagine that the Everton game will be rescheduled for that gap, too.
