FA Cup 2024-25 (insert timezone here)

It must have been wishful thinking on my part that’s exactly what we got unfortunately we have to travel 600miles for that game, which is on the same week as the second leg of the league cup against Spuds.

We play Spurs on a Thursday (the 6th) and we’ll almost certainly go full-strength there. The FA Cup game will probably be televised, so I would imagine that’ll be on the Sunday or even the Monday, as we don’t have another game until 16th February due to avoiding the CL playoff stage.

I’d imagine that the Everton game will be rescheduled for that gap, too.

Might be now moved to the second leg date of those CL games. Bit dumb to stick games on a Thursday.

Yes we did and we drew at Anfield and won the replay 1:0 at Plymouth I think only Trent left from that team.

Trent and Gomez started both games against them.

Yes you are right I could not remember that Gomez was the other one there as well.

Really like the look of Tyler Dibling. Lad has a presence about him. And that’s in addition to his skills and physical attributes

I do as well but I am afraid that Southampton won’t be too happy for us to dip into that well again?

Given that they’re very much likely to be relegated, couldn’t hurt to have a bid, buy and loan him back to the Saints. Let him get more experience. He’s not quite ready to be in our midfield yet. But if he develops in his expected trajectory he will be an absolutely monster player!! I get Gerrard and Toure vibes from him!

Yes that would be great and I am certain he will make the senior England team in the next couple of years.

Yeah a relegation might give us a chance if we are interested.

Is that confirmed? When do the broadcasters decide who gets what?

Arteta has turned them all into cheats , just like his mentor taught him.

Was in the kitchen and heard the commentator doing the highlights of Spurs’ game say something like Werner missing a 1v1.

Just classic Timo. I honestly can’t believe a “top 6” club from the best league in the world has gone back in for him. Spurs with the players they have in his position… makes no sense.

Bundesliga is best for him honestly and he will still bang a few goals there, in a team that can allow a role that’s not a proper winger and not a proper single striker.

It is confirmed spuds on the 6th, Plymouth on the 9th and Everton on the 12th feb.
In the next 6 weeks we have 12 games we play every 3/4 days. 4 of those 12 games are cup games (LC,FAC,2x CL). If we come through that period unscathed it will be a miracle.
