I’d be more open to Tony Evans argument if he didn’t start it “I was right about this” personally I was in more agreement with him on Suarez but those who point out how right they are make me ick.

Yeah, raising it as a suggestion, or a request, I think would have made people far more sympathetic to the argument.
“Hey look, you might not agree this is necessary, and I know this is not how it was meant, but I really think it would reflect better on us if we tweeked the words a bit”
It is generally my response to these sorts of arguments to acquiesce, but I really think you’d have to be a bit of cock to reject that out of hand. He came in with both feet almost like he wanted to be told he was wrong though.
