Killer song.

Hope he stays and shows what his potential really is.

Won’t be fussed if he leaves too.

All it needed was for Leoni to join.

What a statement, both from the player, and then also from the crowd, singing his song until the end.

Slot, take this on board please!

Really glad he took his chance today because I was worrying how many were left coming his way.

He might not have it all in the body like he used to, but boy does he still possess quality at his feet.

It was an deceptively difficult chance as well.

Let’s be honest we could do with that kind of player so I do hope he stays and he is given more minutes. Even if we bring someone in who we should.

I know things don’t work out like that, at least not in Liverpool’s favour, but wouldn’t it be great if Liverpool won the title by a point or two that he earned last night?

I can’t tell if that’s his final contribution to the club. There’s not a Liverpool fan in the world that doesn’t want him to turn his fortunes around and have a good career at Liverpool, even if it was a career of a squad player, but I’m really concerned about it because he still doesn’t look like a physically reliable option. He’s both too easily brushed off the ball and to slow to release it, even after spending a year at the club.

We’ll see what happens, a month or two ago, it looked as though he would leave. In the meantime, Diaz and Nunez have left and it looks like Doak will, too, so maybe club decide to hang onto him for one more season, even if it’s a World Cup year…

Not sure if he’s been on the pitch enough for anyone to come to that conclusion.

What little minutes that I’ve seen of Chiesa, I think he showed some promise. Not his fault that he didn’t get service despite getting into good positions. I didn’t see him getting brushed off the ball easily.

One thing is for certain, the crowd have taken to him and he’s probably getting the most support from a crowd ever. Back him to get some more matches at Liverpool while a decision is probably made at the end of the season. If he contributes 7-8 goals and some asissts (across all competitions) this season, that will take quite a big chunk of the missing goals from Jota/Nunez/Diaz this season.

Exactly, and most importantly, we haven’t yet seen what happens when he plays with self confidence, trust, ease and fun. I, for one, am very excited about it.

Fingers crossed he gets his chance :crossed_fingers:
