@ifthikar , this is called “pathar - ka - gosht”

Thin slices of marinated mutton meat grilled on a hot stone. My absolute fav during Ramzan. Do you have something similar ?

Any beef dish is available in Bangladesh :bangladesh:. It looks familiar but I don’t know the local name. Do they dip the beef into powdered biscuits or flour paste?

It’s Iftikhar

It’s pure marinated meat. I suppose they add a bit of cornflour to ensure that the marinate doesn’t drip off the meat though. No biscuits/egg white or anything.

Nope. No cornflour or any other binding agent. It’s pure marinated meat

Interesting. The crust suggests there’s some coating.

Eerrrmmm not for me thanks

Talking of Ramadan, we’re going to Lakemba night market this evening. I’ll report back.

Looks like poop on a hot plate, I bet it taste good though!

I have just been informed by a Ramadan observing client that every week dawn arrives 10 minutes earlier. Which means I need to get his breakfast ready 10 mins earlier each week. Doing my head in! :sob:

It was the last word that did me…gosht…thought they’d missed out a letter…only joking…

dishes look good! Love a nice rogan josh with naan and raita washed down with a pilsner or two. (I’m very basic)
