mothers day

It is Mother’s Day in the UK today. Thinking of all our extraordinary mothers from all over the world, they were our protectors and gave it to you straight if you were being naughty, encouraged us to do our best in life, being kind, generous and loved us unconditionally.

Also, to our Mums who are not with us, but watching over us. :bouquet: :hibiscus: :sunflower: :blossom:
I love you Mum, you are always in my thoughts and heart daily, miss you soo much

Mums deserve all 365 days really. I’ve never understood why it’s on a different day in different countries.

Ramzan Kareem to everyone who’s observing Ramzan.

Have a healthy month , probably get in the diet as well for people who do need to get in on that and keep yourself well hydrated when it’s time.

Thank you @Sithbare .

I had a headache on the 1st iftar (breaking the fast). The thing is we eat all the snacks for iftar, when it comes to the proper dinner, we are full.:woman_shrugging:
I make sure i eat alot yoghurt and porridge in the sahoor( Ramadan breakfast), drink water, it helps.

Try having fruits, not dried fruits, for iftar. It helps you rehydrate and digest. It’s common here to have fried items for iftar and it really causes havoc with the body.

BTW, are you enjoying the Haleem @Sithbare .

Yes, i have fresh fruits after Iftar and drink alot.

Had some yesterday. I’m on a diet of sorts so wouldn’t be able to eat it as much as I would ideally want though.

I love that gajar ka halwa. I could do with that right now.

Is koya a type of cream?

Koya is milk solids made by boiling the milk totally till the water disappears. Cream is malai in Hindi.

St Patrick was a Welshman.

Enslaved by Irish pirates.

You can diet during the other 11 months. You can have Haleem only during Ramadan. :yum::innocent:

It’s available throughout the year in Hyderabad now though.

Happy St.Patrick’s Day
