FIFA - All that’s wrong with football

Is budgets part of his remit? I know he has a degree in economics but I would have thought he’d be more about training methodologies etc rather than the financial side.
But I guess he would be the best one to answer how much the human resources and materials would cost.
Don’t think he would know much about how those funds were to be acquired.

Isn’t the whole plan though for the development of World football

If so, then surely Wenger should have known about it unless it was about something else :money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face:

It’s for the development of their wallets at the expense of world football

They’re trying to sell something they don’t own.

Shameless greedy bastards.

I think Spain will put a stop to that. They are World Champions and they won’t have it.

I can’t believe that slimy fraudulent git is still president of FIFA. After issuing a letter of apology, he’s acting as if ‘normal service is resumed’ at FIFA head-quarters.

Unbelievable!! :frowning:

Hey, thanks UEFA!

It wasn’t unilaterally disruptive, was it?

FIFA must not be allowed to continue unilaterally taking disruptive decisions.

Oh, she wrote a book (mostly comedic) called “Eats, Shoots And Leaves” about the misuse of punctuation. Just checked and it was published in 2003, so that shows you how current my cultural references are.

She did another one called “Talk to the Hand: The Utter Bloody Rudeness of Everyday Life” which was quite amusing as well.

Why do I get the impression nobody at UEFA is a fan of Lynn Truss?

We haven’t reached the bottom yet.

It turns out FIFA was close to being a stakeholder and give its name to the European Super League.

I wonder if and when UEFA were aware of it, because that is a specific encroachment on their jurisdiction.

I am really hoping that UEFA will withdraw from FIFA and allow it to collapse.

Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter was among those who criticised FIFA’s plan.

He said: “The Fifa is not a private equity fund. It is an association with statutes, regulations, and a fiduciary responsibility to protect the global game. If you sell football’s crown jewels to private investors, you also sell part of the game – especially its soul. Money matters, but it must never become everything.”

Infantino became president of Fifa in 2016 following the resignation of predecessor Blatter.

I wonder who the corrupt executives are who backed him this time. Are there UEFA members in this as well?

Edit

Never mind, here is the page listing all these corrupt fuckers:

I’m afraid you got this one wrong, the FIFA Council is non-executive, whereas Infantino received the backing of “senior executives”.

Oh, thanks for correcting. Who are then these ‘senior executives’? Possibly the vice-presidents in that list?
