That was ten million well spent

Hilarious
Trent getting attention even when he’s not playing, but no words when he’s assisting goals.
Seems like that’s a new trend for Alexander-Arnold that we’ll have to get used to.
Paris teamwork is second to none but real were pathetic and Alonso had a rude awakening. Chelsea will get the same treatment despite spending £600M on 19 forwards juste for this tournament.
We beat them in Paris and they beat us 1:0 but we should have won the Anfield tie and we are the only team to have given them a game looking forward to meet them in the future with our new recruits.
To be fair they should have won in Paris.
Maybe Chelsea will spawn something in the final as they are a dogged team, but probably not. PSG very much look the best side in the world. When they narrowly beat us I said they would win the CL as they were the best side I had seen last season. It looks like they are building on that and they brushed aside Real Madrid in the CWC very easily, with margin to spare.
I like Enrique and I don’t dislike their players, but I cannot overlook the sports washing that has given them this.
As Slot reshapes his team I think we will move in that sort of direction. PSG are not reinventing the game but they are giving a bit of a blueprint as to the sort of set up that will be successful in the next cycle. Obviously you need very good players throughout the side to make it work at their level.
If truth be told we have ran them closest since January.
Fine margins. Salah had 2 great chances in the first 5 minutes at Anfield, first one hit the defenders knee and went over the bar then he curled one over from the sort of chance he normally buries. They go down the pitch soon after and score a truly shite goal.
On the field that was probably the worst week of the year.
His future intentions are not clear… or are they..!!
*"Jobe Bellingham, Dortmunds new £30M signing, arrived to the Club World Cup semi final tonight on the Real Madrid team bus… *
How incredibly disrespectful to his employers and to the fans of Dortmund…"
I watched most of the PSG games since our matches against them and the main thing I noticed is that all the players were playing out of their normal position moving into spaces all over the pitch making it impossible to mark any of them and also their fullbacks were involved upfront and scoring.
Their opponents playing in a conventional way(442,433 etc) were bamboozled
By their clever tactics and even the subs were obviously drilled into it and slotted in perfectly.
Well, Villa beat them at Villa park and briefly threatened to overturn the deficit so…what we can definitely say is that Arsenal didn’t lay a glove on them
And neither did RM.
Dortmund were done and already back home. The players are officially on holiday. If this is disrespectful to anyone it is to the Real team to have interlopers join them in official pregame activities.
its terrible optics which ever way you look at it, players from dortmund, Madrid, fans from Dortmund and Madrid, would all have a reason to dislike this level of…im gonna label it arrogance, not sure if its exactly the word im looking for though
heres me on another thread talking about how the dressing room is sacred, about how things need to be respected…
Alonso needs to tighten up a bit on a few things…
Bellinghams fast turning into the Kardashians of the football world…
I enjoyed the PSG / Real Madrid game :D. Found the crowd noise a bit odd, almost distractingly so. It just seemed like they didn’t know how to be a football game crowd? It was a general level of crown noise than went up a bit as the ball approached goal, but not much - whether it was RM or PSG. No building crescendos, no oooohhhs or aaahhhhs at close shots, not much cheering at all.
I suppose it was the nature of the game, tournament, location and how many people came to just see two teams play - rather than many being strong fans of one or the other. Or they were mostly RM fans. Just felt weird.
I couldn’t put a finger on naming his attitude since joining RM but your name given to him was very apt and Mbappé is also induced into the clan closely followed by Trent.
