I know there is an he has just taken that as several Arsenal fans seem to be revelling in us missing 8 players (though if Jones isn’t fit I’d be a bit surprised).
Hopefully he starts Ederson but I doubt it.
Yeah Curtis, Gomez and hopefully Milner might be back.
And keep our fingers crossed for Mane and Henderson too
I wouldn’t say bar Robbo any are particularly long term (if it’s his hamstring) just a shame Arsenal seem on a bit of a roll.
I’d expect Jones and Milner to be back (one could help the loss of Hendo) and Klopp seemed to suggest Naby and Gomez should be too, key ones are still Mane and Henderson for me, I wouldn’t have been against Tsimkas playing on Saturday anyhow.
Though I think these injuries suggest we shouldn’t be risking anything in these two European games even if they are cash cows.
Bonus is that last thing mind, we can effectively rest for two midweek games when usually we would have to go at it.
Anyhow we won’t know til Thursday/Friday be nice if the club could stick some photos of Naby, Jones and Milner training in the mean time.
Our season is going to be completely ruined by fucking shite international football. There is genuinely no fucking point investing any emotion in it whatsoever.
As long as Firmino is available it should be fine. He does like playing against them…
Was at Windsor Park last night. If NI had a half decent striker they’d have beaten the European champions 3-0. At one point the entire stadium was singing “you’re just a shit San Marino!”
Post of the year
Salah hasn’t started… is in the bench
How can people be so sensible?
Yeah, this needs to be remembered at all times. And that is before we get to the 5k+ workers who died, so that these fat bastards could have their shiny stadia. These facts will need to be rammed home all the time, especially when the tournament will be nearing.
Switzerland have qualified for the tournament, ahead of Italy, which would normally make me very proud about the national team of our small country, especially as they had to contest most of the qualifiers without half or more of the normal regulars, among them key players. That shows the potential among the younger players we have, who filled their shoes outstandingly well.
But given the circumstances, what would make me really proud is if the federation and the team found the inner strength to reflect about it all, and would make the following statement before the tournament starts : “We have qualified for the world cup, but we won’t condone the conscious murder of thousands of workers, and a murderous regime trying to white-wash its reputation through football. So, we’ve decided to boycott it.”
Not a cat in hell’s chance of that happening of course… Apart from a few exceptions, these footballers are mostly half braindead anyway…
Came on after an hour, Klopp will be pleased with that.
Yeah seems to have finished the match as well so hopefully that’s all good, Mane also training with the team at Kirkby has settled my mind a fair bit.
He came on in the 54th minute
We played well and could well have won.
How class it would be to have Conor Bradley make it at Liverpool.
Cardiff’s looking and sounding good tonight.
Very slow tempo in our game. Netherlands plays surprisingly slow.
However, Montenegro currently leads against Turkey, which if the result stands, changes the situation. More surprisingly perhaps, Gibraltar has managed to score against Latvia.
The game is terrible to watch but I am some how coping. Norway has been…tragic offensively.
Thought you were Swedish, to be honest
