Have to admit the US are pressing really well. Miles better than we certainly were last season.

Though I do think they are a decent side. Much better than the Mexican side to watch anyhow
In the second round they’re likely to meet a team similar to the Aussies and in the third round it could be Belgium.

I’d say America are about the 8-10th best side in the World Cup. Better than ever before, but still a gap to the big dogs. Arguably they could get a big scalp on the day, but to win it you are going to have to beat three or more good teams in the knockout stages, depending on the draw.

No South Korea is in second place and the USA are likely to meet a third placed team in the 2nd round.
I think he was referring to Korea’s SF run in 2002 when they were co-hosts.
