I do wonder sometimes it was Slot feeding some of this, still find it somewhat odd we went from one position to the other extreme rather quickly.
We probably did have interest but considering the links to Spain and bits are starting to happen you wonder if that is as Slot’s input.
My MOTM so far is the one camera man doing crowd shots that didn’t get the memo and managed to zoom in on the one female Sweden fan that wasn’t a tall attractive blue eyed blonde

I think the exit interviews from departing players clearly put our season in perspective.
Folks just need to accept that and move on

Koeman is so upset with Malen not putting the Dutch ahead by 3 goals, so he sub’ed off Malen with Summerville?
Well, Summerville has an assist. Dumfries scored. (Correction, Summerville danced around the Swede defender, dropped the ball to Brobbey, crossed and Gakpo kicked it in). I guess Koeman does know what he’s doing.

Gakpo gets his trademark back post tap in goal. Dumfries is the best around at flashing balls across goal.
Clever stuff from Summerville giving even more evidence that West Ham’s relegation was a bit of a self inflicted wound. He is looking like a real talent in this tournament, and so with him, as well regarded as fernandes is, and with someone so reliable and effective as Bowen they really shouldnt have gone down.
I don’t think that has anything to do with me suggesting the focus may have shifted from Dutch players.
It’s evident we seem to be showing more intrerest in Spain.
