FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 1)

I’ve lived and worked in the US and most of my family (uncles/aunts/cousins) are American. I’d live and work there again, given the right opportunity. In the end it is not to dissimilar to the Uk or any other European country - there are nice bits and not so nice bits.

Oddly I haven’t really cared who wins so far… Only slight pangs I’ve had is for Scotland, England and Germany (evidently I’ve adopted them).

Don’t like Brazil and the fawning of Messi is irratable but beyond that.

Can’t believe we are still criticising players for having lives outside of football in the year 2026.

Don’t blame him at all, he would regret not being at the birth of his child for the rest of his life. Football is just a job.

My experience is very similar to yours, many of my family emigrated to the US from the UK in the early 80s.
But I’m very very happy in good old Blighty.

If I have to pick it’s Spain just because I can’t support petrowashing

And basically that difference is all Cody in one match…

Ah but could they beat playing?

That Saudi Arabia side will have to cross the half way line now to get anything from this game.

Well Saudi have attempted to not play so far.

Frustrated by managers like De la Fuente.
I know its early days but what is he so worried about that he plays so many defense oriented players against heavyweights like Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia

Perhaps they want to best their record from 2010 for fewest goals scored for a World Cup winner?

Right that’s it…

Imagine being worse than Cape Verde

Can you cash out and get a penny back?

I hope this does not get too ugly.

Might help the Cape Verde…

Oh dear

Oyarzabal again.

3-0 and we haven’t even had a water break
