FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 2)

Looks like Diomande can focus on getting his contract sorted, as there is no more focus on WC.

sometimes you win for losing. and with this non-transfer, we have won… now watch us spunk that money on barcola

I thought Cote d’ivoire was more progressive in the 1st half, it’s just that they did not have anyone attacking in the middle to receive balls from the wide wingers.
(Anyways, I was having lunch and was not really focusing on the match, so there is a chance I am just talking garbage.)

Find that hard to believe. Maybe as a collective. But isn’t that the coach’s job?
Germany, Holland, Ivory Coast, all three have so much more quality than they’ve shown

Now I can say, thank you !

Was a very exciting game in the end. Entertaining, and of course, my team won.

I quite like Erling … when he is playing for Norway. I would adore him if he played for us though.

That’s what I’ve been saying!

He is really a very nice guy. Very shy with the media, but comes across as very kind.

I don’t know where that comes from, but it’s not the first time that it happens to countries from Africa.

Germany are just not very good right now, and the same can be said from the Netherlands.

Probably.

But maybe not. We have probably, at least, a 30 % chance. Maybe higher.

And that’s good enough for both football and rock n’ roll :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

@Magnus

Do you know still Mohammed Abdellaoue (former Hannover 96 and VfB Stuttgart)?

Amad has looked far more potent than Diomande

Yes, I know him as a player. But I am not particularly interested in him. He was okay in his day though.

Ivory coast reminds me of those very talented nigerian teams, who were more interested in how good they looked than actually winning the games
