FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 2)

We need to give that white witch a call.

That’s matches agianst Ghana for you … our team always had a hard time against them as well

Not great. Here are two statements that both might be true:

England are crap.
England will win their group and advance comfortably.

It’s a fair result. Sure, England much more dominant in midfield, but Ghana had several runs that looked dangerous. 0-0 is fine for both countries, so no big deal.

How can anyone consider thats a good point. Its a dreadful performance.

Ghana are just too physical and they just parked the bus the whole game.

We had our chances, we missed a few. England couldn’t break that yellow wall.

I thought England looked far better with Rashford on. Still a rather turgid match.

I should be off to bed now, but sod that heat. There’s some documentary about Bavarian goat herders now…

I will read a bit in my novel and get some needed sleep. Big Day tomorrow !

Concerts starts at 1400 and it will take me an hour to get there from where I live now in Oslo (no, I don’t sleep at the festival camp).
It’s going to be a long, long day. 4 long, long days actually. :oncoming_fist: :sign_of_the_horns:

So good night and take care, all of you. See you fellow human beings later :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

England are like arsenal…reyling and wanting a load of set pieces

Yes Rashford should have come on first ahead of Gordon, he made Ghana panic a few times.

Here we are again, people seeing a team park the bus and expecting it to be easy to break them down.

Alert, it isn’t, if it was teams wouldn’t do it, the whole idea is to deny space for a ‘better team’ to play football and to have bodies in space to make challenges.

Nothing will change it is hard now and it will be hard in the future and many teams with better quality than England and us will struggle.

Football’s not coming home. In fact it has left home and moved to sunnier climes.

I*m just finding out I have a sizable amount of Ghaneans in my neighbourhood apparently - honking horns past midnight - celebrating a point against England … so I need more :tropical_drink: to put my arse to sleep

I think he will start with Rashford and Saka if both fit and I would start Watkins against Panama and give Kane a rest..

Don’t play “mr safe horizontal pass”…he stops the flow of play…

This is the sort of content Magnus lives for
