FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 2)

Nah shit NZ adverts, but a good time to make a cuppa and take one up for the missus

Don’t worry guys. Harry Kane is going to score from the spot today.

England fans depressing the team with a depressing rendition of God Save The King. They really should get a more upbeat anthem. I always thought Billy Connolly’s suggestion of the Archers Theme was a good idea.

I turned back on for the second half a few seconds early and heard Rooney

We don’t have any ads; instead, we have Bastian Schweinsteiger, who said Kane should have “engineered the situation more cleverly”—then the penalty would have worked out.

Complaining of being pushed, then stop fucking hugging players

Frustrating watching players refuse to release the ball when there are runners in good positions.

It is looking like that this is not going to be our night

England gets a lot of these counters with enormous space to run in. Must surely eventually end in tears for our good doctor.

Great run, no end product or even able to hit the target

Another reactive save.

Bellingham is the only World class player we have

N rashford is the only one running down the wing

I still think England will equalise and we will have extra time but only if they don’t ship another goal.

Problem is the end product is frequently poor

Of all the days, the Congo GK is having a great day, hardly making any mistake.

Do you really expect to go far in a tournament like this playing Madueke and Spence?

It’s amazing that despite the incredible amount of talent England have available to them, they’ve somehow ended up with Spence, Madueke and Rashford starting a knockout game at a World Cup. Three hopelessly average players.

As soon as I saw English media talking about playing Mexico I knew this was on the cards. Déjà vu from that Iceland match
