It must be so dull being a Spain fan - no drama or jeopardy, turn up expecting a comfortable win and get it without breaking a sweat.
Player tired or injured? Never mind theres another Euro and Champions League winner on the bench for that position

Nah, although I’m still sticking with my France prediction, that may be in peril now. They never had to get out of third gear. and they won 3-0. France needs to commit fouls in midfield to keep control but that’s risky. Spain does it through passing and movement.

Ultimately from what we have seen so far the winner is going to be determined by who has the most witch doctors, shamans or voodoo high priests cursing the oppositions star striker - for this reason I’m backing Spain as there is no way the opposing magic men are going to be able to successfully spell or pronounce Oyarzabal when the pressure of a big knockout match is on

Well, booooo! Reality catches up and the Spain game was the first decent game I wanted to watch but could not. Life. Work.
But now a long weekend, and my mission is to wear a butt groove in the place I sit on the couch while I enjoy the World Cup games 
Hopefully I will do just enough to not have Mrs ROTW get sore with me. July 4th evening I am wheeling the BBQ out into the cul-de-sac and making food for a little gathering with neighbors, while my lad sets off fireworks. As an older college kid, he enjoys the admiration of the little kids on our close, like some sort of Pied Piper.
