Nah fuck that. Rape cases often come down to he said/she said and for that reason barely any cases even make it to trial as the police have a relatively high bar to pressing charges. The fact they took the Mendy case to trial shows they thought they had the evidence to convict him. A jury decided that all his sex (including with 17 year old girls while he was 28) was consensual while his defence relied on painting these women as loose and promiscuous.
Then his life was “ruined” by getting an £8m payout from Man City and immediately returning to his career of a professional footballer. Hopefully he is no longer plying schoolgirls with drugs and alcohol before he and his friends all take turns to run them through - that’s his side of the story by the way. The one that got him a not guilty verdict. The law is an ass and these men are rapists.
