My most interesting part of the half was trying to work out how much hair dye Ronaldo must use. He’s also had Botox I think.

Clarke going is right. Suppose it’s ample opportunity to assess how far he has taken them but I feel everything I had seen of them they just tried to play safe, bit typical of Scotland but they’ve played better against better than that in his tenure.
And though he is a defensive type coach he’s shown his team can perform.

I th in no it’s similar to Southgate but obviously to a lesser degree. Yes he’s Scotland’s “best ever manager” but I also thought Scots have enough quality to qualify as a third placed team. And Clarke is such a morose character. Reminds me of Eeyore. Doesn’t set a positive example with his interviews either.

Eeyore is loveable though.
The fact is they were poor in all three a bit more of the Scotland of Qualifying and they would be through. They did nothing bar the goal against Haiti and Morocco was similar.
