This is the issue with Ronaldo, comparing him to Messi is completely a false equivalence. He simply doesn’t have the game intelligence and cleverly timed movement of Messi.
He never did. He relied on his pace and physicality which he no longer has.
Portugal plays worse with him in it.
Messi STILL lifts up Argentina’s level.
